In order to protect instructional time at schools and to ensure that the media relations process works smoothly for everyone, reporters should not contact schools directly but should contact the Communications Office by calling for assistance. A list of employee telephone numbers and job titles can be found below.
Communications staff works with school principals and school-level public relations correspondents to determine if a school can accommodate a reporter ’s request and to ensure that the district has the parent’s permission. The district does not let students talk directly to a reporter without a parent’s prior consent.
Should media wish to interview an employee, staff can contact the employee and make arrangements for the interview.
